Carimas2 beta version is released

Carimas2 is a package for general medical image processing, it is not ONLY for cardiac study any more. Using Carimas2, you can visualize PET, CT and MRI image data, you can draw ROI manually, you can extract tissue-activity curves based on your defined ROIs, you can perform further analysis such as modeling. A heart module is implemented Carimas2. Using heart module, users can analyze cardiac PET study data in similar way such as in Carimas v1.0.

Responsibility for keeping the pages up-to-date is shared to research groups. If you have suggestions or questions regarding the page contents, please contact the group manager instead of the IT group.

Software downloads and most of the modeling contents are not yet moved to the new pages, but are still found in http://www.turkupetcentre.net.

Firefox in Turku PET Centre

Using Firefox in TUH is prevented by default, because Medbit requests that only Explorer 6 to be used in the TUC network (and PET Centre as well). However, because the academic research work in Turku PET Centre is dependent on modern, safe, standard complying browsers, Firefox is restored to those who have requested that. Firefox then installed and and updated automatically as managed software.

Patlak and Logan programs updated

Programs for regional calculation of Patlak and Logan (patlak, logan), and programs for calculation of parametric Ki and DV images (imgki and imgdv) were updated to C# versions.

Currently the C# versions are available only inside TPC network. SW is still GPL, but new TPC web pages do not yet allow automatic uploading of SW, and currently there is no download page either. Codes and/or executables (same executables work in Linux/Mono as well) are available by request.

TPC Program list in web may not be up-to-date

Automatic update of software list does not work currently because of failing Unix server in TPC. For the same reason, also other contents of http://www.turkupetcentre.net/ may not be up-to-date. For the time being, only partial updates can be done, manually.

However, inside TPC and hospital network, the folder for executable programs and source codes in svn are updated as usual.
